Load bearing capacity TegoDeck Roofing Board
When the boards are used under a tiled surface they should provide sufficient bearing capacity such that they support wind and snow loads in accordance with the appropriate local building codes.
If the TegoDeck Roofing Board is used under the tile, we recommend the following panel thicknesses based on the distance between the rafters, the slope of the roof and the anticipated snow loading. The calculation must be made taking into account the load required by local regulations.
Calculations according to EN 1995-1-1 (Eurocode 5); double distance; all the joints with short edge on joists; service class 2; medium-term load duration class; combination of characteristic load; l/150 (deviation limit); S = Sg*m; m = 0.7 (for roofs with a slope of 25° - 65°); m = 1.0 (for roofs with slope 0° - 25°); kmod = 0.6; γM = 1.2; kdef = 2.25; ψ = 0.2; 0.25 kN/m2 (dead load for tiles and roof panel)
